York Daily Record Monday, November 1, 1982 7A OBITUARIES -Edith Sibbet Edith (Gibson) Sibbet, 98, a daughter of a former mayor of York, died Oct. 13, 1982, at Uplands Home for Church Women, Baltimore, where she lived the past 15 years. She was the wife of the late William T. Sibbet. The funeral was at Uplands Home.

Burial was in Prospect Hill Cemetery, York. Born at Landisburg, daughter of the late Milton B. Gibson, who was mayor of York from 1902 to 1905 and the late Elizabeth Shumaker Gibson, she was a member of the Episcopal Church. Mrs. Sibbet is survived by a daughter, Marion S.

Geoghegan of Port Republic, and six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren. and a great-great- grandson. Francis S. Orendorff Francis S. Orendorff, 72, of 1309 E.

Philadelphia died Friday evening, Oct. 29, 1982, at York Hospital. He: was the husband of Frances Blickenstaff Orendorff. The funeral will be 10 a.m. Tuesday with a Mass of Christian burial at St.

Topper Orendorff, he served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a retired employee of York Sanitary Dry Cleaners. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, the Holy Name Society, the' Young-at-Heart Club, the Catholic War Veterans Post 129, the Goodwill Fire Company and the York County Fire Police.

Mr. Orendorff also is survived by a son, Joseph S. Orendorff of Seven Valleys; three daughters, Joan, F. Witmer of Red Lion, Judith A. Ritter of Camp-1, Pendleton, and Sharon E.

Clauser of Kensington, a stepson, Dr. Gerald E. Hartdagen of Wilkes- 12 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a sister, Alice Topper of McSherrystown. Warren L. Barben CARDIFF, Md.

Warren L. Barben, 91, a former Cardiff resident, died Sunday, Oct. 31, 1982, at Citizens Nursing Home, Havre De Grace, where he lived the past three years. He was the husband of the late Cora M. Barben.

The funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Delta. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, near Fawn Grove. Viewing will be 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
